Work being done on the vehicle

Sat/Sun March 18th/19th - We started to strip the interior by removing most of the book shelves & removed the desk/counter from behind the cab. The small sink at the rear was also removed to make way for chemical toilet that will be fitted at a later date. The raised floor behind the driver & passenger seats was extended backwards two feet to make room for the kitchen unit that will be fitted behind the passenger seat. The floor has been covered in new carpet tiles & trimmed with with angled aluminium kick plate.

Since the last update (above), Brian has been beavering away like a good`un in his spare time ! He`s managed to get the cubicle built & installed for the chemical loo & fit the kitchen unit. Today (17 April) saw the lot of us get together to build in the framework for the submarine style bunkbeds, oh...& do a radio interview for BBC Radio Wiltshire !!

Yippee the wagon has had it paint job a big thanks to Ian and his lads at Commercial Autobodies in Bristol for a lovely job.
